WEB DESIGN · LONDON, ONTARIO

Custom websites for London small businesses.

I build one thing, and I build it well — websites for London, Ontario small businesses that rank locally, load fast on a phone, and turn visitors into phone calls. Three transparent pricing tiers, fixed quotes, no Wix tax, no scope creep.

Every project starts with a free 30-minute discovery call — no pitch deck, no quote until I understand what you're actually trying to fix.

FOCUS

Why I only do websites.

Most small-business websites in London read like pamphlets — a header, an about us, a contact page, and a phone number nobody clicks. That's not a website, that's a digital business card. What actually moves the needle for a plumber, an auto body shop, or a cleaning service in London Ontario is a site that ranks for their trade plus the city name, loads in under two seconds on a phone, and makes the next step — a call, a quote request, a booking — obvious from any page.

Doing one thing well beats doing four things passably. Every hour I spend going deep on web design — performance budgets, local SEO patterns, conversion-focused copy, schema markup, accessibility — is an hour you don't pay for in agency overhead. The tradeoff is real: if your project needs custom software, deep paid-ads management, or ongoing local-SEO retainers, I'll happily point you at someone in London who specializes there.

Owner-operated, fixed quotes, three published tiers. You always know what you're paying and what you're getting before we start.

PRICING

Three tiers. One honest number per tier.

Fixed quotes, scoped before we start. Pick the tier that matches the work — if you outgrow it mid-project, we'll talk before the meter runs. No hourly billing, no surprise change orders.

REAL WORK

Example builds.

Three London-area projects, three different industries. Click through to see how each site actually performs in production.

FIT

Industries I build for.

Local service businesses are the sweet spot — owners who depend on customers finding them online, who know their trade cold, and who need a website that does its job without three meetings a week.

Not on this list? Reach out anyway. The shortlist exists because those industries make up most of my recent work — not because the door is closed to others.

UNDER THE HOOD

The tech, briefly.

You don't need to care about this — but if you're curious, or if your other developer asks.

Every site is built in Next.js (the modern React framework powering sites like Hulu, TikTok, and Notion) and hosted on Vercel. That means server-rendered pages for SEO, edge caching for speed, automatic image optimization, and HTTPS by default. Hosting for a typical small-business site runs $0–$20 per month — far cheaper than a WordPress install with managed hosting and a security plugin.

No WordPress, no Wix, no Squarespace, no page builders. That's deliberate: those tools make sense for a hobbyist, but they slow down a small business with monthly subscriptions, plugin conflicts, and security patches. A custom-built Next.js site is cheaper to run, faster on a phone, and easier to update once you know where the content lives. You get a Git repo with all the source code at handover — if you ever want to take it to another developer, you can.

WHERE I WORK

Areas I serve.

I'm based in London, Ontario, and I do most of my work for businesses I can drive to in under an hour. That keeps things personal — I can sit down with you for an hour, photograph your shop with real equipment, and understand how your business actually runs before I write a single line of code.

Further out is fine for the right project — web design is genuinely remote-friendly, so the geography matters less than fit.
